Requirements
  • A baccalaureate degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated critical-thinking ability, motivation, organizational skills, ethical standards, and professionalism are required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally is required.
  • Healthcare or home-care experience in data and system analysis with proven outcome enhancement is required.
  • Experience with HHA eXchange is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is required.
Responsibilities
  • Investigate home-care-related allegations by reviewing electronic medical records and conducting staff and patient interviews, and provide intervention recommendations within 48–72 hours.
  • Respond to Managed Long Term Care and Department of Health grievances within the allotted timeframe.
  • Manage the complaint database and prepare monthly reports for upper management in support of the Quality Improvement Program.
  • Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of clients, patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Serve as a resource to staff for educational needs, provide individual and group training as needed, and ensure compliance with agency, regulatory, and reimbursement standards.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
