- Be a Nurse Practitioner currently licensed to practice medicine in the state of hire.
- Provide references and pass a background check.
- Hold an Indiana license; a Michigan license is a bonus but is not required.
- Be certified in Basic Life Support and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- Be willing to travel to various correctional facilities in northeastern Indiana.
- Work full-time, Monday through Friday, for 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work weekends every 4–6 weeks.
- Lead a team of medical staff while providing treatment to patients with a variety of medical conditions.
- Provide healthcare services to corrections-involved individuals from initial interaction with law enforcement through transition to the community.
- Correctional experience is preferred but not required.
- A background in family practice, urgent care, or emergency room medicine is preferred.
