Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in estimating, design, or management of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning projects ranging from 50,000 dollars to over 100 million dollars.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to develop new business and maintain a client base.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Active participation or presence in an industry-based or community-based organization.
  • Possess and maintain a valid Class C driver license with the ability to drive to various locations.
  • Ability to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks at job sites including standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
Responsibilities
  • Perform project management functions to promote and finalize sales including concept engineering, completing estimates, and writing proposals.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of contracts including sales, estimating, procurement, and execution.
  • Oversee field labor and installation sequencing in coordination with field leadership to meet project needs.
  • Manage financial aspects of projects including forecasting, preparing budget projections, controlling costs, and billing.
  • Prepare business and legal documentation such as letters, proposals, memos, contracts, and change orders.
  • Lead client meetings and maintain professional relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and industry partners.
  • Coordinate internal departmental efforts across Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Construction, and Service departments.
  • Supervise and manage employees assigned to specific projects to ensure the project vision and contracted scope are achieved.
  • Schedule and coordinate pre-construction meetings with department heads and supervisors.
  • Mentor, recruit, train, and coach sales staff to support department growth and initiatives.
  • Contribute to special studies and committees to advance technical abilities in engineering, planning, and installation procedures.
  • Travel to regional branch offices and job sites based on business requirements.

  • Experience with Business Systems Software such as JD Edwards, Industrial and Financial Systems, BidTracer, FastEst, Bluebeam, Box, or Smartsheet.
