Requirements
  • EMT National Registry certification and/or a current state license, or pending licensure.
  • Ability to provide medical care at the EMT or Paramedic level while safely transporting patients.
  • A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to safely operate a vehicle during daytime, nighttime, and inclement weather conditions.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment interview, physical and lifting examination, and drug screening.
  • Ability to attend company-provided training and a driving course.
Responsibilities
  • Provide appropriate patient care within the scope of Advanced Emergency Medical Technician training.
  • Safely transport patients by accurately reading maps, discerning street names, distinguishing house numbers, and identifying business addresses expediently.
  • Assess patients appropriately and accurately communicate their conditions to other medical professionals.
  • Prepare accurate written reports describing patients' conditions, medical histories, and provided treatment.
  • Complete appropriate documentation for billing information.
  • Maintain the vehicle in sanitary condition and monitor all fluid levels and gauges.
