Requirements

A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required.
At least two years of experience in public accounting is required.
The candidate must hold a current and valid Certified Public Accountant license or be working toward obtaining the license by taking and passing the applicable state Certified Public Accountant exam.
The candidate must be able to travel to assigned client locations.
The candidate must possess thorough knowledge of United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards, and Public Company Accounting Oversight Board standards.

Responsibilities

Perform audit or review procedures and assist with other assigned projects.
Understand the client's business and industry, accounting systems, and control systems.
Assess risks and evaluate the client's internal control structure.
Perform and document analytical procedures, substantive tests, and tests of controls to identify and resolve accounting or reporting issues.
Review or draft financial statements and other client deliverables.
Direct, train, supervise, and review the work performed by staff and experienced staff auditors.
Build and maintain client relationships.
Participate actively in all phases of a client engagement, from planning through issuance.
Demonstrate proficiency in technical skills, work quality, and application of professional and firm standards.

Salary Range: 40.86 to 50.48 (Currency: USD) (Pay period: per-hour-wage)

Responsibilities

Performing audit or review procedures, or assisting in other projects, as assigned
Understanding the client’s business and industry and accounting and control systems
Assessing risks and evaluating the client’s internal control structure
Performing and documenting analytical procedures, substantive tests, and tests of controls to identify and resolve accounting or reporting issues
Reviewing or drafting of financial statements and other client deliverables
Directing, training, supervising and reviewing the work performed by staff and experienced staff auditors
Building and maintaining good client relationships
Being actively involved all phases of a client engagement, from planning to issuance
Demonstrating proficiency in technical skills, work quality, and application of professional and firm standards

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
At least two years of experience in public accounting
Holds a current and valid CPA’s license, or is working toward obtaining the license by taking and passing the applicable state CPA exam
Ability to travel to assigned client locations
Possess thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States, United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards, and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board standards
