Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a copywriter within an agency and/or in-house team.
  • A portfolio with creative, relevant work for which you were primarily responsible is required.
  • You love writing — of all shapes and sizes.
  • You’re comfortable with turning a specific project around in minutes, or spending a day brainstorming on a blank page.
  • You take projects by the horns and can identify opportunities, push through blockers, and pivot quickly when necessary.
  • You can quickly grasp a brand’s identity and voice, with an ability to push into new territory while staying within the brand's copy guidelines.
  • You’re well-versed in the production cycle and process, including on-set experience.
  • You are able to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, are naturally curious and proactive self-starter, constantly on the lookout for new opportunities and solutions.
  • You are an owner, have excellent problem-solving skills and can prioritize tasks effectively.
  • You’re a true dog person -- even if you don’t have one!
Responsibilities
  • Conceptualize and develop all creative from performance-driven ads to integrated brand campaigns and activations in partnership with a Senior Art Director.
  • Develop strong, engaging, and concept-driven assets for social-first content.
  • Lead various advertising campaigns, working closely with internal and/or external video partners from the concept phase to the final sound mix.
  • Help develop the brand’s tone of voice that’s consistent with our mission and ethos in support of long live dogs.
  • Continually look for creative opportunities to push our brand message and identity through owned channels like in-box collateral, digital comms, and more.
  • Work cross functionally to immerse yourself in the product and brand and execute on business needs and objectives.
