Requirements
- A bachelor's degree is required.
- ARDMS certification is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of sonography scanning experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses within the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program curriculum that coordinate with clinical experience.
- Participate in student recruitment.
- Develop course objectives, lesson plans, and curriculum.
- Support students through counseling and advisement.
- Design, prepare, and develop teaching materials that conform to the Diagnostic Medical Sonography curriculum and the ARDMS curriculum guidelines.
- Instruct and evaluate students and report their progress.
- Cooperate with the Program Director and participate in periodic review and revision of course materials.
- Maintain appropriate expertise and competencies through continuing professional development.
Desired Qualifications
- A master's degree is preferred.
- Teaching experience is preferred.
