Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to data, reporting, and analytics.
- Work with business stakeholders, data engineers, developers, and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Analyze data from SAP BW and other SAP and non-SAP data sources.
- Develop and execute complex SQL queries for data analysis, validation, and reconciliation.
- Use Python for data analysis, transformation, validation, and automation of reporting and data processes.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Define data mappings, business rules, key performance indicators, and reporting requirements.
- Perform data profiling, quality checks, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis for data issues.
- Support data extraction, transformation, and integration requirements across multiple systems.
- Validate data products and ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Collaborate with technical teams on data models, ETL processes, and reporting solutions.
- Prepare functional and technical documentation, including business requirements documents, functional requirements documents, data mapping, and process documentation.
- Support user acceptance testing, defect analysis, issue resolution, and production implementation.
- Present analytical findings and dashboards to business and senior stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with SAP BW/4HANA or SAP HANA.
- Knowledge of Power BI DAX, Power Query, and data modelling.
- Experience with data quality, governance, and reconciliation processes.
- Exposure to cloud data platforms and modern data engineering environments.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
