About the Role:

Wing is looking for a Manufacturing Systems Manager to join our Manufacturing and Supply chain team based onsite at Palo Alto, CA. In this role you will spearhead the Product Life cycle Management of new hardware, and oversee the SAP functionality. Liaise with our manufacturing partners for New product documentation & change management cycle. Your efforts will be crucial to deliver new hardware for business operations. The ideal candidate has a passion for making an impact in a fast paced environment, and the ability to deliver results as part of a dynamic, cross-functional team.

What You’ll Do:

Lead the Systems Initiatives within the Manufacturing Operations and Supply chain organization
Coordinate within the hardware group on new products, and be the focal point for PLM systems
Oversee the systems to provide guidance on expanding ERP functionality, with cross functional alignment and external collaboration with manufacturing partners.
Migration of the PLM system to a new platform, in accordance with Alphabet’s policies and security standards.
Ensure Vendor’s data and security audit is in compliance with Alphabet’s security standards.
Work closely with Finance, Purchasing, Logistics and Supply Chain Organization to ensure adoption and seamless collaboration across all project areas and business functions.
Strong written communication and organizational skills with demonstrated cross functional collaboration.
Strong leader with demonstrated people management skills and cross regional management.

What You’ll Need:

Bachelor’s degree in a directly related field, or equivalent related experience
8+ years of industry experience in one or more of the following fields: product life cycle management, ERP, & WMS.
2+ years of people management experience, preferably of a team within Manufacturing
Experience working on NPI in the hardware product environment
Program Management Experience with a proven track record of successful implementation in a matrix organization.
Ability to deal with ambiguity and thrive in a rapidly changing business environment.
Ability to travel internationally 10-15%

Passion or interest in aviation
Capability to think strategically, balancing a broad range of internal and external factors when identifying problems, proposing solutions, and making decisions.
Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) operations.
Experience with data security in managing vendors.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is the salary range below + bonus + equity + benefits. Wing’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.
