Requirements
  • Must be currently pursuing a bachelors, masters or PhD degree with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2027
  • Must be pursuing a degree in a field of engineering, such as Computer Science or Aerospace Engineering
  • Experience with C/C++ (highly preferred), Python, and/or Matlab
  • Experience writing and executing integration tests
  • Experience with any of the following is preferred: CI/CD, Docker, Git/Gitlab/Github, path planning and trajectory and/or debugging failure modes
Responsibilities
  • As part of the Autonomy and Airspace Integration organization, and deployed in the Autoflight and Navigation: Flight Planning and Contingency Management team, you will act as an FPCM intern for a novel type of aircraft development targeting the autonomous UAM market
  • You will take part in developing and testing the FPCM autonomy software suite in simulation and flight
  • You will help support problem solving activities in enhancing our testing infrastructure and driving feature development, ensuring we meet critical deadlines
  • You will take part in executing integrated tests, developing scripts and tools for testing, and collaborating with the team to develop and test our simulation capabilities.
Desired Qualifications
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the CAN for the duration of Internship
  • Must live in Canada at both the time of application AND at the time the internship begins
  • Must be either a rising sophomore, junior, or senior in college
  • Must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0, transcripts are required
  • Must be an enrolled student at both the time of application AND at the time the internship begins
  • Must be able to work 40 hours a week for 12 weeks (full-time for 3 months)
