  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
  • Two to five years of experience in project coordination or construction project management is required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.

Responsibilities
  • Support project managers across multiple active projects from inception to completion.
  • Review initial project scopes and assist in developing project work plans with engineering teams and clients.
  • Coordinate outage requests and sequencing plans with internal teams and contractors.
  • Assist with procurement coordination for major and minor material and equipment needs.
  • Coordinate environmental and non-environmental permitting review and submittals.
  • Help prepare request for proposal packages, scopes of work, baseline schedules, and bid documentation.
  • Participate in contractor bid evaluations and award recommendations.
  • Facilitate or assist with pre-construction and project progress meetings.
  • Track project schedules, milestones, budgets, and financial forecasts.
  • Maintain project documentation and navigate client systems for project tracking and reporting.
  • Communicate project updates related to schedule, costs, procurement, safety, and construction progress.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with clients, contractors, and field teams.
  • Spend time in the field to stay engaged with project progress and better understand project scopes.
  • Collaborate regularly with schedulers and project teams to maintain detailed project schedules.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting utility, transmission line, substation, or telecommunications projects.
  • Familiarity with project scheduling or project management software.
  • Experience managing project budgets, forecasts, or procurement coordination.
  • Project Management Professional certification or interest in pursuing professional project management development.
  • Desire to continue growing technical knowledge within substation, transmission line, or telecommunications industries.
