About the job
- The candidate must be at least 18 years old.
- The candidate must hold a valid Class A or Class B commercial driver's license.
- The candidate must have a clean driving record.
- The candidate must be able to sit for long periods.
- The candidate must be able to lift 65 pounds without assistance.
- The candidate must demonstrate attention and commitment to safety.
- Drive and operate a ready-mix truck to deliver ready-mixed concrete to jobsites or customers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety checklists on trucks and trailers.
- Deliver concrete material to each job according to the specifications on the delivery ticket.
- Record all information on the delivery ticket, sign it, and submit it to the designated location.
- Observe and obey all traffic laws when operating the truck.
