  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Systems, or similar
  • No more than 24 months of professional full-time work experience in technology field (excluding internships, research and/or teaching assistant roles, and military experience)
  • Development skills in one or more of the following languages: C++, Python, GoLang, Java or similar
  • Applied knowledge and understanding of engineering first principles
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Building products and applications for millions of vehicles a year
  • Building code at a rapid pace
  • Developing tools and systems using modern software techniques
  • Working as a team member on one of the Software teams
  • Improving system architecture design skills for state-of-the-art mobility in vehicle systems
  • Acquiring hands-on capability to solve practical engineering problems in a real industry setup
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge and/or experience in ROS, vehicle autonomy stack
  • Insight into real-time, distributed, parallel computing, and low-level hardware
  • Familiarity with automotive or embedded processor architectures (ARM/x86)
  • Knowledge of development best practices for large, distributed codebases (ex. system level testing, dependency management)
  • Knowledge of backend services, databases schemas and developer tooling
  • Experience building tools and automation, both in CI (ex. Github Actions, Gitlab CI, Jenkins, Buildkite) and local development environments
