Bild AI raises $3.1M for affordable housing

Construction startup Bild AI, founded by Roop Pal and Puneet Sukhija, raised $3.1 million in a seed round led by Khosla Ventures. The company aims to disrupt the construction industry by using AI to read blueprints and estimate materials and costs, a process traditionally done manually. Bild AI plans to use the funding to hire engineers and expand its technology. The startup's early clients include material suppliers for multifamily residences, and it generates revenue through subscription fees.
