Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree, or a high school diploma or equivalent with equivalent work experience, is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of prior treasury sales or equivalent experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of treasury products, including complex offerings such as Payments, Integrated Receivables (lockbox), Commercial Card, and Escrow Management, is required.
  • Working knowledge of working capital concepts, relationship pricing, and deal flow management is required.
  • A history of meeting and exceeding deposit and revenue goals and the ability to call independently are required.
  • The position requires strong and advanced business communication skills, including writing, listening, delivering sales proposals, report writing, presentation skills, basic statistics, and creative skills.
  • The position requires customer service skills, basic office and mathematics skills, organizational and time management skills, independent judgment, accuracy, attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • The position requires advanced personal computer experience using Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe.
  • The position requires the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well.
Responsibilities
  • Achieve or exceed objectives and goals in business development, client retention, deposit growth, portfolio quality, fee income, cross sales, referrals, client satisfaction, and knowledge of treasury management solutions.
  • Call on new and existing business clients to develop and close treasury management sales business, review assigned client bases, identify solutions and cross-sale opportunities, complete sales, and refer or engage business partners as appropriate.
  • Develop treasury solutions sales proposals and pricing pro formas for prospective and existing clients.
  • Conduct annual treasury management reviews for top-tier business clients.
  • Maintain current working knowledge of treasury management sales programs, products, and services, as well as applicable federal and state regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Deliver internal treasury management presentations and participate in sales meetings, joint call planning, and prospect development with business lending and branch calling officers.
  • Partner with business lenders and branch calling officers in pre-proposal discussions to understand client needs and shape preferred solutions.
  • Participate in joint client and prospect calls and presentations, lead treasury management discussions, assess client needs and challenges, and communicate the features and benefits of bank programs and treasury management products and services.
  • Prepare contracts and implementation documentation according to account-opening, account-ownership-verification, and treasury-management-services setup processes, and review documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Manage and retain clients' operating business by ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Provide quality service to internal and external customers.
  • Assess customer needs and requirements and translate them into sales deliverables across treasury management products and technologies.
  • Develop and maintain professional and productive relationships with management, business partners, customers, and coworkers.
  • Maintain functional and technical knowledge of existing and developing treasury management services, documentation, and internet technologies.
  • Maintain knowledge of products, services, and programs and apply sales and business development skills.
  • Handle difficult situations and customers while providing information, data, advice, and solutions and maintaining trust and respect.
  • Use communication, questioning, negotiation, presentation, and training delivery skills in person, by telephone, and by email.
  • Work independently under limited direction, exercise independent judgment, complete assignments, and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and follow bank policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

(WDAM) - The Mississippi Institute of Higher Learning (IHL) approved a deal on Thursday morning that will rename M.M. Roberts Stadium, affectionately known as 'The Rock.' The University of Southern Mississippi struck a $13.7 million deal with Renasant Bank in exchange for the namesake. For the next 10 years, 'The Rock' will become 'Renasant Stadium.' The Mississippi IHL said that the university and bank had come to a mutual agreement after evaluating the value of the naming rights. The agreement can be terminated at any time and is active starting Friday, Aug. 21.

Renasant Q2 earnings beat estimates at $0.94 per share, revenue misses at $273.94M

Renasant reported second-quarter earnings of $0.94 per share, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.91 per share and marking a 3.30% surprise. This compares to earnings of $0.69 per share a year ago. The company has beaten consensus EPS estimates three times over the last four quarters. However, quarterly revenues of $273.94 million missed the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 0.6%, though this represents an increase from year-ago revenues of $267.19 million. Renasant shares have risen about 23% since the beginning of the year, outperforming the S&P 500's 8.3% gain.
