Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • At least 7 years of cybersecurity experience, including cloud security, infrastructure security, network security, or security engineering.
  • Experience leading and developing security engineers, including distributed and offshore team members or contractors.
  • Experience managing enterprise productivity suites, identity and access management platforms, public cloud platforms, and endpoint protection and threat detection solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls, network infrastructure, and cloud networking across multiple cloud providers.
  • Practical experience applying artificial intelligence tools to security and engineering workflows, including automation, detection, triage, and reporting, and familiarity with governing safe artificial intelligence adoption across an enterprise.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills for security workflows and identity lifecycle automation.
  • Experience supporting PCI audits, compliance assessments, and security reviews.
  • Deep understanding of identity management, privileged access controls, authentication, and authorization principles.
  • Skill in leading investigations, incident response, vulnerability management, and threat analysis.
  • Experience developing and maintaining security policies, standards, and governance processes.
  • Experience partnering with legal and procurement teams on vendor security reviews and contract preparation.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic security initiatives with hands-on technical execution.
Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a distributed team of onshore employees and offshore contractors supporting corporate technology and web platform security.
  • Manage direct reports, goal setting, performance reviews, professional development, and day-to-day prioritization of work.
  • Oversee offshore contractor engagements, including deliverables, work quality, and coordination with vendor and resource management.
  • Serve as the governance lead for cybersecurity matters across the organization, setting direction, standards, and priorities.
  • Develop and maintain company-wide cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and technical documentation.
  • Partner with Legal on vendor security preparation and review, including non-disclosure agreements, data processing agreements, and vendor risk assessments.
  • Manage cybersecurity projects, operational requests, and remediation initiatives, ensuring timely execution and resolution.
  • Support PCI and other compliance initiatives, audits, and security assessments, including evidence collection and questionnaire responses.
  • Maintain security metrics, reporting, and operational dashboards to provide visibility into organizational risk.
  • Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities, recommending improvements to strengthen the organization's security posture.
  • Serve as the organization's designated HIPAA Security Officer, ensuring compliance with the HIPAA Security Rule and overseeing protection of electronic protected health information.
  • Administer and secure the enterprise identity and access management platform, including authentication policies, identity lifecycle automation, and privileged access controls.
  • Manage endpoint detection and response and endpoint protection across the enterprise device fleet.
  • Manage enterprise network security, including next-generation firewalls, switching infrastructure, and cloud network environments.
  • Secure the enterprise cloud identity and directory environment, including conditional access, session controls, and account hygiene.
  • Manage email security and phishing defense, including phishing investigation and triage, security awareness training, and phishing simulation programs.
  • Lead security incident investigations and response efforts, coordinating remediation and root-cause analysis activities.
  • Manage cloud network architecture and security controls for consumer-facing digital platforms.
  • Oversee source code and development platform security, including repository access controls, secrets management, and continuous integration and continuous delivery pipeline security.
  • Own the vulnerability scanning and vulnerability management program across web properties and infrastructure, driving remediation with Engineering.
  • Lead client-side security for web properties, including governance of third-party scripts and tags and browser-side protections.
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Product teams to embed security requirements and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Desired Qualifications
  • CISSP, CCSP, CISM, Security+, and/or GIAC certifications.
  • Experience with the HIPAA Security Rule and protecting electronic protected health information.

Forbes' top editor ousted after taking $6M 'gift' from magazine partner

Forbes has fired its chief content officer Randall Lane after he accepted approximately $6 million from one of the magazine's partners without disclosure, according to The New York Times. Lane acknowledged his error in a statement, saying he should have disclosed the gift and calling it "a serious error in judgement". He said he deeply regretted losing "the job and team I love". The payment reportedly came from RJ Shook, founder of Shook Research, a company Forbes partners with to publish wealth adviser rankings. Forbes' staff guidelines prohibit employees from personally benefiting from the firm's business dealings and require permission for outside business activities. Executive editor Kerry Lauerman is overseeing editorial operations whilst Forbes searches for a permanent replacement.

Washington's Shuo Wang worth $2B, ties Taylor Swift at #23 on Forbes richest self-made women list

Shuo Wang, co-founder and chief revenue officer of HR software company Deel, is Washington's sole representative on Forbes' list of America's richest self-made women. The 37-year-old, who lives in Medina, is tied for 23rd place alongside Taylor Swift with a net worth of approximately $2 billion. Wang co-founded Deel after studying mechanical engineering at MIT, where she met co-founder Alex Bouaziz. The company specialises in international hiring and recently surpassed $1 billion in annual recurring revenue, serving clients including Nike and Shopify across 100 countries. The Forbes list features 43 self-made women billionaires with a collective net worth exceeding $166 billion. Diane Hendricks tops the list with $21.7 billion, followed by Daniela Amodei at $15.5 billion.

Philip Morris ranks 4th on Forbes' Net Zero Leaders list, targets 2040 emissions goal

Philip Morris International has been included in Forbes' 2026 Net Zero Leaders list, ranking first in the fast-moving consumer goods category and fourth overall. The list recognises US publicly listed companies best positioned to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 based on measurable performance. PMI remains committed to reaching net zero by 2040, a decade earlier than most companies. Forbes evaluated firms using data from Sustainalytics and Morningstar, assessing governance, risk management, strategy and decarbonisation metrics across Scopes 1, 2 and 3. Recent milestones include launching its Value Plan 2030+, publishing an updated Climate Transition Plan and continued progress towards science-based decarbonisation targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative. PMI's smoke-free products accounted for 43% of its first-quarter 2026 total net revenues.

Eric Trump calls Forbes 'Chinese propaganda' after $500M American Bitcoin shareholder loss report

Eric Trump has accused Forbes of being "Chinese propaganda" after the magazine published an investigation claiming his company American Bitcoin has wiped out roughly $500 million in retail shareholder value since going public. Forbes alleged that American Bitcoin operates as an arbitrage vehicle selling inflated shares to buy BTC, with its market capitalisation crashing 92% from a $13.2 billion peak to about $1.24 billion. The publication also claimed the company's all-in cost per Bitcoin is near $90,000, well above the $57,000 figure Trump cites. Trump defended the venture by highlighting Q4 revenue of $78.3 million and a treasury holding over 7,000 Bitcoin, making it the 16th largest public Bitcoin holder. American Bitcoin went public via a Hut 8 merger in September, but shares have dropped over 90% since debut.

Forbes has launched ForbesPredict, a moneyless prediction platform developed with Axiom, where users build profiles by logging predictions on real-world events without trading currency. The platform aims to deepen audience engagement as Forbes shifts away from traffic-based metrics towards loyalty and participation. Unlike mainstream prediction platforms such as Kalshi, ForbesPredict requires users to digest and interpret news coverage to make informed predictions, creating a record of correct and incorrect forecasts. "AI is fundamentally changing how people access information," said Nina Gould, Forbes' chief innovation officer. "Our response isn't to chase scale, but to deepen engagement." The platform will provide Forbes with insights into audience preferences whilst encouraging users to return and participate rather than simply consume headlines.
