  • At least 7 years of experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, advanced analytics, automation, software engineering, or related technical disciplines.
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting cybersecurity, compliance, risk management, governance, or regulated technology environments.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative artificial intelligence, large language models, and intelligent automation technologies.
  • Strong software development and coding experience with modern programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
  • Experience designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade artificial intelligence solutions.
  • Ability to understand and optimize complex end-to-end business and technology processes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the adoption and integration of artificial intelligence capabilities across the Cyber Application Compliance Program.
  • Design, develop, and implement artificial intelligence-driven automation solutions to improve compliance operations, risk assessment activities, and regulatory reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through intelligent workflows, machine learning models, predictive analytics, and process automation.
  • Partner with cybersecurity, compliance, risk, technology, and business stakeholders to integrate artificial intelligence capabilities into existing governance processes.
  • Develop artificial intelligence-assisted compliance monitoring capabilities to identify control deficiencies, policy exceptions, and emerging risks.
  • Design and maintain complex integrations between governance platforms, compliance systems, security tooling, data repositories, and reporting solutions.
  • Build scalable data pipelines and automation frameworks that improve the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of compliance evidence collection.
  • Use advanced analytics and artificial intelligence techniques to improve cyber risk visibility and support executive decision-making.
  • Enhance the organization's ability to manage compliance against cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory requirements, and internal standards.
  • Develop artificial intelligence-enabled dashboards, metrics, key risk indicators, and predictive reporting capabilities.
  • Support implementation of intelligent workflows within ServiceNow, Archer, cloud environments, and other enterprise technologies.
  • Evaluate emerging artificial intelligence technologies and develop practical use cases that improve operational effectiveness and control maturity.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to establish responsible artificial intelligence governance practices, security standards, and model oversight processes.
  • Ensure artificial intelligence-enabled solutions align with the firm's cybersecurity, privacy, legal, and risk management requirements.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify opportunities for process improvement, risk reduction, and compliance optimization.
  • Translate business objectives into technical specifications and solution designs.
  • Communicate complex artificial intelligence concepts, technical architectures, and compliance implications to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Create and deliver executive presentations, implementation roadmaps, and business cases supporting artificial intelligence investments.
  • Partner with technology and compliance teams to establish automation strategies that support regulatory examinations, audits, and internal reviews.
  • Stay current on developments in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, automation technologies, regulatory expectations, and industry best practices.
  • Mentor and guide team members in artificial intelligence adoption, automation opportunities, and advanced analytics capabilities.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

  • Strong coding proficiency and demonstrated experience building complex integrated technology solutions.

Mostapha Tahiri, currently enterprise chief operating officer, will become president of State Street Alpha, with responsibility for Alpha, Charles River Development (CRD), and a suite of innovative platform solutions, reporting to Ron O'Hanley, chairman and chief executive officer of State Street. State Street names Tim Helyar as head of Asia Pacific. Helyar succeeds Lochiel Crafter, who recently retired, and reports to Stefan Gmuer, head of International. 9 September 2026 State Street Corporation today appointed Tim Helyar as head of Asia Pacific, effective immediately, supporting the company's regional growth strategy. Based in Hong Kong, Helyar (pictured) will oversee State Street's Asia Pacific business strategy, partnering with country, functional and business leaders to strengthen governance, deepen client and regulator engagement and accelerate regional growth. He succeeds Lochiel Crafter, who recently retired, and reports to Stefan Gmuer, head of International.
