Marriott Autograph Collection to open Serengeti Safari Camp.

Marriott Autograph Collection to open Serengeti Safari Camp. Marriott is expanding its presence in one of Africa's most iconic wildlife regions with a new luxury camp in Tanzania's Serengeti National Park. The Mereshi Safari Camp Serengeti, part of the Autograph Collection, is scheduled to welcome guests in November and will offer 18 tented suites designed for immersive safari stays. The property sits on traditional Ikoma land near the Fort Ikoma airstrip, giving travelers quick access to daily game drives and the park's renowned wildlife. ([1]) Thoughtful tent design for sunrise moments. Each of the 18 suites spans 775 square feet of indoor and outdoor space. Built with timber, stone, and canvas, the tents incorporate natural materials and locally sourced woven textiles along with greenwood furniture. Private east-facing decks are positioned to capture prime sunrise views over the landscape. Guests can also expect sumptuous beds and outdoor showers that bring the surrounding environment closer. The design draws on the work of Arusha-based firm Dunia Designs, which previously created another Autograph Collection camp in the same region. The result emphasizes comfort without losing connection to the setting. Would you like to save this? Travelbinger'll email this post to you, so you can come back to it later. Lodge inspired by local acacia trees. The main lodge takes its shape from indigenous acacia trees and houses a bar plus shared lounging and dining areas. Nearby sits a private boma for firelit dinners under the stars, while a deck overlooks a water feature. Additional facilities include a small spa, a pool, a fitness center, and a curio shop for souvenirs. The restaurant Mila operates as an indoor-outdoor space that keeps diners linked to the outdoors. It serves breakfast after morning drives, family-style lunches, and relaxed dinners following evening game drives. Experiences and practical details. Two shared game drives and guided walks each day are included, along with refreshments. All meals, select beverages, return transfers from the Fort Ikoma or Seronera airstrips, a traditional boma dining experience, laundry service, and Wi-Fi round out the standard offerings. Bookings are already open for stays beginning January 4, 2027. Nightly rates start at $1,967 for double occupancy. An opening promotion runs from January 4 through March 27 and awards 25,000 bonus Marriott Bonvoy points on eligible stays booked with code S2449. Part of a broader safari expansion. Marriott entered the safari sector in 2023 with the JW Marriott Masai Mara Lodge and has since added several other camps across Kenya and Tanzania. The new Serengeti property continues that pattern of growth in high-demand wildlife destinations. Travelers interested in the camp can monitor Marriott's site for award redemption details, which are expected to align with rates at the sister property Mapito Safari Camp Serengeti. The St Regis hotel brand is coming to Marbella with a project involving an investment of 500 million.

The St Regis hotel brand is coming to Marbella with a project involving an investment of 500 million. International news 2026-10-21 The investment group Platinum Estates and Sierra Blanca have reached an agreement with Marriott to build a luxury resort and 151 homes in Las Dunas. An investment of over 500 million euros in a five-star hotel with 169 rooms and 151 luxury homes, which will create 2,000 direct jobs and 4,500 indirect jobs during its construction, and more than 450 jobs once it becomes operational. These are the spectacular figures that sum up the hotel and branded residential development to be built in the Las Dunas area, in east Marbella. The figures have been put on the table following the signing of an agreement reached by Platinum Estates, a Hong Kong-based property investment group, and the Marbella-based developer Sierra Blanca Estates with Marriott International to bring this investment to fruition. The hotel will be known as the St Regis Marbella Resort, while the residential area will be called The Residences at St Regis Marbella Resort. The agreement covers the entire development, and construction is expected to begin this year, with the opening scheduled for 2031. This will be the first Marriott hotel on the Costa del Sol to operate under its luxury St Regis brand. Planned for a seafront plot of over 160,000 square metres in Marbella, the project will also feature amenities within a destination designed to operate all year round. The site offers over 350 metres of seafront, protected by a natural dune system (the Real de Zaragoza dune, which will be regenerated), which preserves its privacy and provides guests and owners with direct access to one of Marbella's best-preserved stretches of beach. Taraf and Marriott to launch JW Marriott Residences, Yas Island.

Taraf and Marriott to launch JW Marriott Residences, Yas Island. Posted on October 20, 2026 The design follows JW Marriott's principles of architectural awe, serene spaces, elements of nature and warm touches Taraf, the real estate division of UAE-headquartered investment holding group Yas Holding, and Steppe have signed an agreement through their joint venture with Marriott International, Inc. to launch JW Marriott Residences Abu Dhabi, Yas Island, a new branded residential development on Yas Island. Set directly on the beach with the golf course alongside it, the project occupies a rare position between the blue of the Arabian Gulf and the green of the surrounding fairways. Beyond its immediate setting, residents will be connected to the wider experiences of Yas Island, from its beaches, golf course and waterfront dining to Yas Marina, Yas Mall, Yas Marina Circuit and the island's internationally recognised leisure and entertainment attractions. Yas Island is approximately 15 minutes by road from Zayed International Airport and around 30 minutes from central Abu Dhabi. The project has been conceived around the relationship between home, nature and wellbeing. Its architecture and interiors draw inspiration from Abu Dhabi's landscape, light, craft and heritage, expressed through natural materials, tactile details and a restrained contemporary aesthetic. The design follows JW Marriott's principles of architectural awe, serene spaces, elements of nature and warm touches, creating spaces that encourage a sense of calm and connection. A comprehensive collection of resident amenities will complement the homes, including a residents' lounge, fitness centre, steam and sauna facilities, treatment and relaxation spaces, meeting spaces, golf simulator and games area, media room, children's activity area and guest suites. Together, these spaces are designed to support wellbeing, connection, leisure and everyday living. Low Ping, Group CEO of Yas Holding, said: "Our objective is to ensure JW Marriott's philosophy is integrated throughout the design and experience of the project. At Taraf, we are focused on translating that philosophy into a distinctive residential experience, from the relationship with nature and light to thoughtfully considered spaces for wellbeing and connection, while bringing the design ethos and meticulous attention to detail that define our developments." Jaidev Menezes, Regional Vice President - Mixed-Use Development, EMEA at Marriott International, said: "JW Marriott Residences extends the brand's approach to thoughtful hospitality beyond a stay and into everyday life. This marks our second collaboration with Taraf, following the sold-out W Residences Abu Dhabi - Al Maryah Island. With Abu Dhabi's first JW Marriott Residences, owners can expect a distinctive lifestyle shaped by genuine service, curated amenities and meaningful opportunities for connection, all designed to support wellbeing and enrich everyday living." Cem Habib, Steppe Capital Board Member, said: "This location brings together two of Yas Island's defining landscapes: the blue of the waterfront and the green of the fairways. Combined with its proximity to the wider experiences of the island, it creates an exceptional setting for residential living."

Le Méridien Arlington completes renovation, adds La Vue Ballroom and Noble Fox Bar & Terrace.

Le Méridien Arlington completes renovation, adds La Vue Ballroom and Noble Fox Bar & Terrace. Summary. Le Méridien Arlington completes a renovation of its 156 guest rooms, public spaces, and event venues, adding the 1,800-square-foot La Vue Ballroom. The Rosslyn hotel also opens Noble Fox Bar & Terrace, a fourth-floor brasserie serving cocktails and shareable dishes, with views of the Potomac River and Georgetown. ARLINGTON, Va. - October 20, 2026 - Le Méridien Arlington has unveiled the completion of a comprehensive hotel renovation, marking a new chapter for the property and its place in the Greater Washington, D.C. hospitality landscape. The transformation encompasses the hotel's 156 guest rooms, updated public spaces, and a newly added La Vue Ballroom, along with the debut of Noble Fox Bar & Terrace, a cocktail-forward American brasserie where classic meets clever. "Arlington is a destination in its own right, with a rapidly growing residential community and a dining scene that rivals the capital across the river," said Raimondo Russo, General Manager, Le Méridien Arlington. "Le Méridien Arlington is built for both the savvy traveler seeking a world-class address and the neighbor ready to savor something closer to home." A refreshed experience from check-in to check-out. Every touchpoint of the guest journey was carefully considered, beginning with 156 updated guest rooms and suites designed by The Gettys Group. Drawing on Le Méridien's signature mid-century modern aesthetic and taking cues from the property's distinctive vantage point overlooking the Potomac River and the Georgetown skyline, the redesign layers warm, tailored design with the practical needs of today's traveler. Guest rooms and suites feature a warm palette of deep navy, burgundy, and taupe, with tailored wood and leather furnishings, constellation-themed wallcoverings, and sculptural lighting. Curated artwork throughout pays homage to Arlington's distinct civic and cultural identity - from its military heritage to its evolving modern character. The hotel's public space has also been transformed, with Prime AE leading updates across the property's five meeting and event venues. The all-new La Vue Ballroom spans over 1,800 square feet and accommodates up to 120 guests for social celebrations and corporate gatherings, set adjacent to the expansive La Terrasse outdoor event space. New custom floral carpeting, brass chandelier lighting, and floor-to-ceiling windows complete the room's updated character and make it ideal as an elegant wedding option. Introducing Noble Fox Bar & Terrace. Central to the hotel's transformation is the debut of Noble Fox Bar & Terrace, a fourth-floor brasserie-style gathering place where thoughtful cocktails, shareable dishes, and easy conversation converge. The venue features a menu crafted by Le Méridien Arlington Executive Chef Francecil Ponte. Perched above the Potomac River with a terrace made for lounging, it is equally primed for a post-work happy hour or an unhurried evening at the table. Inspired by the quiet instinct of the fox - always in the right place at the right time - Noble Fox is the kind of place that rewards those who trust their taste. Curious by nature. Discerning by instinct. The space is anchored by a showstopping curved marble bar beneath a sculptural brass chandelier, with a lounge environment that mixes rich wood tones, velvet seating, and floral upholstery details. Seated here, guests can expect a cocktail menu that balances classic technique with a sense of play, for both spirited and zero-proof sippers alike. Where the capital meets its match. Nestled in the heart of Rosslyn, Le Méridien Arlington is just steps from the Metro and minutes from Georgetown, the National Mall, and the broader Washington, D.C. metro area. Arlington has emerged as one of the region's most dynamic addresses as a walkable, transit-connected community with a growing residential population, thriving dining scene, and civic identity shaped by both storied history and forward momentum. The hotel's views of Georgetown across the Potomac River remain among its defining features, a vantage point that informs the design of the property and its terrace experience.
