- Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately in accordance with Michigan repair facility, factory, and MARTIN standards.
- Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and perform authorized repairs.
- Tag parts and process them according to the published process.
- Advise the service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, outlined work is not needed, or repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
- Work on classic and modern vehicle platforms.
- Document all work performed in detail.
- Quality-check completed work.
- Road-test vehicles to ensure repairs have addressed customer concerns.
- Keep customers' vehicles clean.
- Administer safety and housekeeping policies and procedures.
- Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations governing service repair work.
- Keep tools and the work bay clean and organized.
