Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technician Program is required.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the Association of Surgical Technologist or as a Surgical Technician by the National Board of Surgical Technician and Surgical Assisting is required.
  • At least one year of experience as a Certified Surgical Technician is required.
  • New graduates may be considered if they have the required Certified Surgical Technician certification and suitable academic performance.
  • Knowledge of surgical supplies, instruments, machines, and equipment used in or related to the Operating Room is required.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide crucial support to physicians delivering cardiac care services in the Electrophysiology Laboratory.
  • Support electrophysiology laboratory diagnostic testing, including electrophysiology studies and tilt table tests, to help ensure appropriate treatment and patient outcomes.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience working as a Certified Surgical Technician in an Electrophysiology setting is preferred.
