  • Ability to understand verbal and written instructions and documents.

Responsibilities
  • Pack and ship gaskets and pull and pack outgoing customer orders.
  • Process inbound transfers, UPS, FedEx, and other incoming freight.
  • Put stock away in designated locations or shelving and maintain daily inventory.
  • Perform gasket and stud bolt production jobs required by clients.
  • Assemble shipping boxes and monitor staged boxes that are due but not shipped.
  • Load outgoing freight onto trucks.
  • Keep the Will Call area organized and current.
  • Cross-train on all warehouse operations.
  • Monitor propane tank capacity and coordinate refills with the supervisor.
  • Verify item length, diameter, and material against pick tickets before packaging.
  • Palletize orders containing more than five boxes.
  • Advise sales of shortages or unavailable items.
  • Mark each line item with its box number and ensure it corresponds to the box markings.
  • Maintain a neat and clean work environment, including removing packing materials and box flaps.
  • Perform other warehouse functions as needed to meet on-time customer-order delivery.
