Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree from an accredited college or university and/or certification in radiation oncology
Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the Clinical Medical Physicists in the general medical physics duties pertaining to operating a radiotherapy clinic, including machine and patient-specific quality assurance.
  • Develop and implement new technology and processes.
  • Participate in the acceptance testing and commissioning of a new treatment machine.
  • Work under the direct supervision of a board-certified clinical physicist.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in physics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or science from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience with Radiation Oncology electronic medical record software and treatment planning systems.
  • Proficiency in coding and scripting in C# or Python.
  • Ability to work as part of an integrated care and process team.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed especially late night shifts to conduct patient specific quality assurance.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize work flow.
  • Technical problem solving.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills.
