About the job
- A bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, general business, or a related field is required.
- At least 2 years of shipping, warehouse, logistics, distribution, or order-processing experience is required.
- Experience in a consumer products, wholesale, retail distribution, or eCommerce environment is required.
- Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, less-than-truckload carriers, freight forwarders, and common shipping platforms is required.
- Experience preparing bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and related shipping documentation is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and general computer applications is required.
- Strong data-entry skills and attention to detail are required.
- Ability to prioritize multiple shipments and work effectively under daily deadlines is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Ability to work collaboratively with warehouse employees, carriers, customer service representatives, and other departments is required.
- Dependability, organization, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are required.
- Coordinate and process domestic and international shipments.
- Create purchase orders.
- Track logistics.
- Prepare shipping documentation.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Work closely with warehouse personnel, carriers, freight forwarders, and internal departments.
- International shipping experience is a plus.
- Experience working with an enterprise resource planning or warehouse management system is preferred.
