Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Hotel front desk experience is preferred.
  • Experience with hotel reservations software is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows is required.
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours at a time is required.
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds occasionally is required.
Responsibilities
  • Greet and register guests.
  • Assist with taking reservations, pre-registrations, and room blocking.
  • Assist large groups upon arrival.
  • Help guests find nearby dining, shopping, and other local attractions.
  • Handle and resolve guest issues initially.
  • Process payments according to procedure.
  • Upsell additional facilities and services.
  • Perform all check-out tasks.
  • Balance cash, checks, and credit cards at the end of each shift.
  • Answer questions and cater to guests' needs.
  • Communicate internally with other departments to resolve guest concerns or requests.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

  • An outgoing and friendly demeanor, willingness to ensure guest satisfaction, a positive and upbeat demeanor, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a team-oriented approach are preferred.
