Responsibilities
  • Support hospital and clinical customers, including direct and distributor partners, by providing accurate and timely order processing and resolving inquiries.
  • Monitor the Electronic Data Interchange automatic order fulfillment system, including receiving, verifying, and processing electronically submitted data.
  • Receive and process orders for vascular access products and services via email, phone, and electronic systems.
  • Monitor, correct, and release purchase orders submitted via Electronic Data Interchange and GFAX in a timely manner.
  • Enter and update orders and account information accurately and urgently.
  • Maintain documentation for orders containing processing exceptions and requiring approval.
  • Maintain documentation of customer phone interactions.
  • Collaborate with sales, logistics, finance, regulatory affairs, quality assurance, and marketing teams to provide seamless service and support.
  • Inform field representatives of customer issues and inquiries.
  • Provide timely responses to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Process product returns.
  • Facilitate relevant customer information for Electronic Data Interchange customers as requested and needed.
  • Support hospitals and sales representatives with account setups and updates.
  • Apply knowledge of products, services, and organizational policies to daily work.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service and processes.

Spectrum Vascular has acquired Piccolo Medical, a developer of catheter guidance technology, to accelerate commercialisation of next-generation vascular access solutions. Piccolo CEO Augustus Shanahan will join Spectrum alongside his team to advance the company's 510(k)-cleared catheter guidance products. Piccolo's technology uses proprietary blood flow sensing to guide catheter tip placement in real time, eliminating the need for confirmatory chest X-rays. The company completed its first successful patient placements of the Nav+ Stylet in May 2026. Founded in 2016 and based in San Francisco, Piccolo was spun out of the Theranova medical device incubator.
