A bachelor's degree in a construction-related field is required, such as civil engineering, construction management, or construction technology.
Five to seven years of estimating experience in a construction environment.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
A valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates, quantitative surveys, life-cycle cost analysis studies, and value engineering studies for mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems in institutional, commercial, and industrial facilities.
Assist Samet team members with civil, architectural, and structural preconstruction services as required.
Assist in developing the critical path method project schedule.
Prepare written scopes of work and conduct detailed plan and specification reviews.
Conduct field inspections and coordinate project delivery.
Support preconstruction and project delivery from scope development through field coordination.
Mentor Samet team members.
Desired Qualifications
Working knowledge of Sage Estimating Software.
Previous experience in estimating or project management.
Experience preparing detailed energy modeling studies.

As Senior Preconstruction Project Manager, you'll lead advanced cost estimation and preconstruction services for complex institutional, commercial, and industrial projects — owning detailed estimates, life cycle analyses, and value engineering studies across mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.
You'll mentor Samet team members, support civil, architectural, and structural preconstruction efforts across multiple projects, and oversee project delivery from scope development through field coordination.
What You'll Do
Prepare detailed cost estimates, quantitative surveys, life cycle cost analysis studies, and value engineering studies of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems for institutional, commercial, and/or industrial facilities.
Assist other Samet team members with civil, architectural, and/or structural preconstruction-related services, as required.
Assist in developing the CPM project schedule.
Prepare written scopes of work, and conduct detailed plan and specification reviews.

What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field required (civil engineering, construction management, construction technology, etc.).
5-7 years of estimating experience in a construction environment.
Working knowledge of Sage Estimating Software (preferred).
Previous experience in estimating/project management (preferred).
Experience preparing detailed energy modeling studies (preferred).
LEED Accredited Professional (preferred).
Primavera software scheduling experience (a plus).
Thorough working knowledge of MS Office software, including MS Word and MS Excel (required).
