Job Description

Responsibilities

• Work a full scope of practice as a pathologist.
• Perform autopsies and the interpretation of surgical biopsies.
• Assess pathology and cytopathology specimens
• Perform interpretation of peripheral blood smears or be willing to train in this

Qualifications

•  All applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
•  All specialists must be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC)
•  Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
•  Canadian certification in either anatomical or general pathology is considered an   asset
