Requirements
  • Hold a damage insurance license issued by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF).
  • Have a minimum of five years of experience in commercial-lines damage insurance and business development skills.
  • Proficiency in English, as this position involves frequent contact with international clients and/or external partners, and being the primary contact for assigned clients and/or external partners.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Responsibilities
  • Manage client portfolio and develop new business opportunities.
  • Conduct client presentations, prospecting calls, proposals, writings, and other activities to meet clients' needs in a timely manner.
  • Meet and maintain relationships with clients, collaborate with an Account Representative to ensure quality service, highlight added value of services, and keep all client files up to date.
  • Follow up on requests with insurers, identify markets, and understand clients' needs, as well as seek new opportunities.
  • Maintain good relationships with internal and external partners; participate in events and professional gatherings to expand network and stay informed about market trends and opportunities.
Desired Qualifications
  • CIP, FCIP, and/or CRM diploma.
  • University or college degree.
  • Proficiency with EPIC software.
  • Holding a license in other Canadian provinces.
  • Knowledge of other Microsoft Office 365 tools.
