Who we are
We drive sales of Mindbody software and ClassPass inventory, but that’s not all. The Revenue team helps our customers achieve their business goals, contributes to their growth, and eliminates hurdles by finding smart solutions from our suite of software products. We are strategic, collaborative, and solutions-oriented. This team will focuses on increasing the revenue and success of our new hires, existing team members and individual portfolio of prospective customers. This team is responsible for identifying business solutions with prospects by proactively determining the customer’s needs through pitching, consulting and upselling.
About the right team member
This role is responsible for all operations that support Mindbody Sales, specifically the net new sales (Land Sales). This includes the full sales cycle for teams that work from the point opportunities make first contact to the final stage of the sales cycle. This position oversees the entire Land Sales team and its overall coordination, functional management and leadership activities.
About the role
- Develops effective strategies and programs to ensure company needs are met and monitoring effectiveness
- Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales performance standards for assigned region; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
- Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Motivate and energize the team to make proactive decisions in all their communications with clients
- Responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for assigned region
- Meets with sales managers on a monthly basis to assess company performance against KPI’s
- Speak at conferences and events about the company’s products and services
- Oversee performance management of under-performing sales team
- Review existing and create new incentive programs to motivate and drive sales
- Approve expenses for all activities under the purview of the Sales Department
- Oversee and approve monthly Sales Commissions for entire Sales Team
- All other duties as assigned
Skills & experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years sales experience
- Five (5) years of previous management responsibility, specifically managing managers
- Must have experience managing SMB and Mid Market Sales teams, as well as outbound sales teamas
- Strong experience in SaaS sales
- Possesses an in-depth knowledge of organizational and business objectives
- Proven track record of achieving sales growth and delivery of results to company goals
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in creating, managing and executing revenue-generating programs
- Personable, charismatic individual with the ability to develop positive, trusting professional relationships with business executives, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, studio owners and other professionals
- Strong analytical skills, sound business judgment, and high level of initiative, creativity and flexibility
- Strong project management skills, coupled with a high attention to detail and superior multi-tasking abilities
- Strong decision-making ability
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, balancing both strategic and tactical responsibilities
- The ability to lead a team and influence cross-functional teams • A strong sense of accountability, ownership and pride in work performed

The goal of Mindbody’s compensation program is to be transparent, attract potential employees, meet the needs of all current employees, and encourage Team Members to stay with our organization.
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
The base salary range for this position in the United States is $140,000 to $175,000. The total compensation package for this position may also include performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
