Position Summary: The Business Developer III role is responsible for supporting the sales organization by attending sales discovery meetings, developing technical solutions for customer problems, mentoring sales and applications in water and wastewater treatment solutions for the vertical market. The BD III will also provide expert knowledge on product or service specific training to the relevant teams. The BD III will own some business relationships with customers to support sales efforts, and by attending trade shows and other industry events.
Core Responsibilities and Tasks:
Senior-level technical solution development, marketing, and business development position.
Individual contributor.
Is assigned to the Hydrocarbon Processing Industry (HPI) business unit with ownership of customer relationships.
Creates conceptual level tactical proposals and develops strategic approaches specific to the HPI business unit.
Role will have scope assigned by business unit management.
Identifies and fosters customer relationships and contacts.
Collaborates with Sales Management and Business Unit Management on sales strategy.
Identification of customer needs, industry challenges and competitive intelligence.
FORMAL EDUCATION:
Required:
BS/BA in related discipline
Minimum of 10 years of marketing engineering or technical sales in water/wastewater treatment
KNOWLEDGE and EXPERIENCE:
Required: Working knowledge of business environment and sales strategy; ability to learn and apply marketing concepts and techniques

$91,500.00 - $164,500.00
