Murex Developer - Capital Markets

About the job
- A minimum of 4 years of experience with Murex MX.3 is required.
- Strong proficiency in several Murex MX.3 modules, including Datamart, MxML Exchange, Workflow, Static Data, Market Data, Trade Lifecycle, Simulation and Pricing, Front Office, Back Office, Confirmation, Payments, Collateral Management, and Accounting.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including Oracle and SQL Server.
- Experience with Unix or Linux and shell scripting.
- Experience with XML and XSLT.
- Experience with Git, SVN, or another version-control tool.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools.
- Strong understanding of financial products, including derivatives, fixed income, foreign exchange, equities, money markets, commodities, interest-rate swaps, over-the-counter products, repos, and securities lending.
- Significant experience in an investment bank or Capital Markets environment.
- Experience participating in Murex implementation, migration, or evolution projects.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Experience supporting production environments.
- A Master's degree or engineering diploma in Computer Science, Finance, or an equivalent field is required.
- Fluent French is required.
- Professional English proficiency is required.
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions on the Murex MX.3 platform.
- Configure and customize Murex modules according to business needs.
- Develop interfaces between Murex and external systems.
- Participate in Murex implementation, migration, and upgrade projects.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, business teams, and end users to gather functional requirements.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support and resolve production incidents.
- Develop and optimize workflows, batch processes, reports, and automations.
- Participate in unit, integration, and user acceptance testing and in production deployments.
- Ensure code quality and compliance with development best practices.
- Write technical documentation and participate in knowledge sharing.
- Java development experience.
- Experience with Front Office, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Back Office, Collateral Management, Accounting, Market Data, Datamart, Confirmation, Payments, and Limits modules.
- Python development experience.
- Experience developing REST or SOAP APIs.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Performance optimization experience.
- Knowledge of financial regulations including EMIR, MiFID II, SFTR, and Basel III.
- Murex certification.
