Reservation Executive
About the job
- One or two years of experience in reservations.
- Knowledge of Opera PMS and Opera Cloud.
- Maintain the Opera Cloud Reservations system by updating rate systems, validity dates, mail messages, and availability controls.
- Check previous-day no-shows, provide details to the Duty Manager for processing, and follow up.
- Monitor occupancy for upcoming weeks; enter stop-sell dates into the property management system when necessary and advise Front Office, Telephones, and allotment holders using the automated reservation system.
- Reconfirm all arrivals one day before arrival and ensure relevant information is available to the Front Desk by the prior evening.
- Maintain accurate and complete guest histories for returning guests and communicate arrival details to management.
- Assist in preparing and checking the rate manual and ensure rates and schedules are correct in the computer system.
- Communicate with the Director of Sales and sales department to forward potential leads and feedback from inbound and corporate markets.
- Maintain open and reciprocal communication between the Front Office and Reservations Office.
- Complete daily duties, including correspondence, filing, and reports.
- Follow emergency communication procedures.
