Requirements
  • Minimum 2:1 or above in a Computer Science subject
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom unsponsored for the duration of the programme
  • Ability to work on site 5 days a week
  • Open to shift pattern working
  • This role requires a high level of security clearance; Applicants must have been based in the United Kingdom for the last five years as a minimum
  • If relocation to area required - support may be available
  • 2:1 Undergraduate Degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cyber Security
  • Technical Knowledge: familiarity with programming languages, understanding of popular frameworks and tools used in cyber security
  • Analytical problem solving
  • Soft skills: effective communication, planning, organisation and a learning development mindset, stakeholder and time management
Responsibilities
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents
  • Contribute to the development of robust defence strategies
  • Identify vulnerabilities and assess risks
  • Implement solutions that keep the organisation secure
  • Collaborate with experienced professionals to safeguard sensitive data and maintain public trust
  • Safeguard sensitive data and ensure operational continuity across vital services
