- Availability to start paid training immediately and begin instructing immediately.
- Availability Monday through Wednesday from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., subject to change.
- Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth in an academic setting.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Willingness to complete the professional development training program.
- Work with site staff at partner schools in the Lawndale area.
- Lead STEAM projects and activities for students in classrooms using the proprietary curriculum.
- Teach students in transitional kindergarten through eighth grade.
- Build trusting and respectful relationships with parents and students.
- Create a safe environment for students.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Exceptional communication skills.
