About the job
- A bachelor's degree in Special Education, psychology, or a related field is required.
- Two years of experience caring for persons with developmental or physical challenges are required.
- One year of supervisory experience is required.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- The candidate must be able to pass an extensive background check.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of one group home in the Residential Treatment program.
- Coordinate activity and staffing schedules.
- Maintain appropriate documentation of student and staff performance.
- Monitor health, safety, and medical issues and procedures.
- Supervise instructors in implementing daily instruction, data collection, and instructional activities consistent with students' Individual Education Plans and Individual Services Plans.
- Bilingual and bicultural backgrounds are encouraged.
