It delivers care through in-home visits, care coordination, and 24-hour emergency on-call assistance, using data-driven, person-centered planning. Revenue comes from service fees often supported by Medicaid programs like Minnesota’s Brain Injury Waiver, enabling individuals with brain injuries to live in community settings. Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • BrightPath added an Apple Valley child-foster license on December 12, 2025.
  • Minnesota DHS still lists BrightPath licenses active through July and November 2026.
  • The 2026 BI waiver renewal preserves demand for community brain-injury services through 2031.

What critics are saying

  • Minnesota’s 2026 waiver billing caps squeeze revenue, especially Individualized Home Supports.
  • Rate-exception limits starting July 1, 2026 punish high-acuity residential staffing economics.
  • Medicaid funding concentration makes any DHS waiver redesign or audit an existential threat.

What makes BrightPath unique

  • BrightPath runs Minnesota HCBS across BI, CADI, DD, and CAC waivers.
  • Its 245D and child-foster licenses support residential, intensive, and emergency-assistance services.
  • Minnesota’s BI waiver renewal effective April 1, 2026 fits BrightPath’s specialization.
