  • BS in electrical engineering or similar technical discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in electronics design
  • 2+ years of experience leading a team of engineers
Responsibilities
  • Be a Responsible Engineer (RE) accountable for several electrical subsystems which may include power management hardware, battery packs, sensors, control modules and communication hubs
  • Design, test, and build spacecraft bus system power management modules including PCBA schematic capture, simulation, layout, and contract manufacturing
  • Design test procedures for screening hardware against program level requirements
  • Manage design documentation between different configurations, builds, and programs
  • Assemble and test flight hardware alongside our AIT team
  • Work with VP of Engineering and Chief Engineer to design and implement Avionics processes and best practices
  • Perform PCB schematic capture and layout (Altium experience preferred)
  • Perform detailed technical review of electronics design and PCB layouts
  • Assist in developing test plans for flight qualification of avionics (TVAC, vibe, thermal, radiation, EMC/EMI, etc.)
