ST | 0 Hrs. OT on a Exempt W2: No Overtime Pay Contract Contingent Basis located North Carolina 28307 Across The Mid Atlantic Region supporting the The City of Charlottes mission of ensuring the delivery of quality public services and promote the safety, health, and quality of life of its citizens  with Translation, Transcription, and Interpretation services.   

Seeking ASL Transcription Specialist candidates with relevant Government And Public Services Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Government And Public Services Sector Clients such as CLT.  This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Transcription Services Functional Area - Transcription Services Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Transcription Services (ASL Transcription Specialist) in the Government And Public Services Industry Sector focusing on Business Process Solutions for clients such as City Of Charlotte, NC (CLT) | City of Charlotte Procurement Department Generally Located In CONUS - Charlotte, NC and across the Mid Atlantic Region (Of Country/World).

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - ASL Transcription Specialist | Transcription Services [CLT008007]

• Convert ASL-interpreted speech into written text for various uses, including court records, public meetings, and emergency services. Ensure accurate and timely transcription.

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications For ASL Transcription Specialist | Transcription Services [CLT008007] (CLT008007) Candidates:

• Certified in ASL and transcription services. Experience with video-to-text software.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Communication, or related field. 1+ years of transcription experience.

Skills Required

• Excellent listening and typing skills, ASL proficiency, knowledge of transcription formatting standards.

Competencies Required

• Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to meet deadlines.

Ancillary Details Of The Roles

• Familiarity with transcription software required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive settings.

• Work may involve live transcription or recorded materials.
