Ridwell focuses on the collection and recycling of hard-to-recycle items, such as plastic film, batteries, light bulbs, and threads, which are often discarded in regular waste. The service is designed for households that want to minimize their waste footprint and offers door-to-door collection every two weeks, making recycling more convenient. Clients subscribe to the service for a regular fee, and Ridwell partners with vetted organizations to ensure the collected items are recycled or reused properly. Unlike many waste management services, Ridwell specifically targets items that are difficult to recycle and promotes a culture of sustainability within communities. The goal is to reduce landfill waste and encourage recycling and reuse.
