Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Appear in California state court for hearings, trial calls, and final status conferences under the supervision of senior attorneys.
  • Draft and respond to discovery requests and review opposing parties’ submissions.
  • Assist in preparing motions and supporting trial preparation.
  • Work directly with senior attorneys to build litigation skills across discovery, motions practice, and courtroom appearances.
  • Independently prepare, draft, and argue substantive motions, including motions to compel and dispositive motions.
  • Take primary responsibility for case strategy and trial preparation on assigned matters.
  • Represent clients in hearings and trial calls with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Mentor and supervise junior attorneys, with opportunities to take on greater case management responsibility over time.
