Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of commercial electrical experience.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code and local codes.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb as needed during the workday.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to safely navigate construction sites, including uneven surfaces and ladders.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools required for electrical tasks.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and boots.
- Ability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee electrical installations on commercial and multifamily construction projects.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure proper layout and installation.
- Supervise and support journeymen, apprentices, and helpers on site.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Maintain a strong focus on jobsite safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Communicate with project managers, general contractors, and inspectors.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
- Florida journeyman or master electrician license.
