Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • At least 5 years of field experience is required.
  • Ability to travel 75–100% is required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, including possible nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.
  • Ability to complete quality inspections for projects of limited scope and size.
  • Ability to use problem-solving techniques to support customer relations.
  • Ability to collaborate with others and effectively influence.
  • Ability to assist in data collection for short circuit arc flash studies.
  • Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a background and drug test.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and implement commissioning plans and deliver commissioning services.
  • Conduct job site quality audits and quality inspections for conduit layouts, lighting systems, basic control systems, feeders, motor feeder installations, and standard motor connections.
  • Identify potential quality issues by reviewing construction documents.
  • Analyze startup and commissioning schedules.
  • Analyze upcoming tasks and anticipate equipment installation standards, checklist procedures, and training needs.
  • Lead small crews of 2–5 electricians.
  • Perform job site safety checks and maintain compliance with company safety policies, lockout-tagout procedures, Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards, and customer-specific safety standards.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure Faith Quality Advantage processes, best practices, installation standards, and other applicable processes are used effectively and safely.
  • Participate in internal and external cross-functional teams to develop and refine organizational processes related to job site quality.
  • Provide valid statistical information and applicable analyses to the Commissioning Superintendent regarding job site quality.
  • Provide guidance to field employees, project supervisors, and management on job site quality matters.
  • Conduct job site and on-site coaching and employee development related to audits, novel work, or jobs in crisis.
  • Review project expectations with project leadership and provide feedback or recommended corrective actions to project managers, work crews, management and leadership personnel, and support functions.
  • Plan, complete, and implement assignments and responsibilities in a timely manner.
  • Define work, communicate the vision, objectives, and tasks, delegate tasks, measure and monitor work, and coach and motivate direct reports or task-force members.
  • Participate in the company hiring referral and mentoring program.
