Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Four years of relevant experience organizing meetings and providing administrative assistance to teams
  • Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related tools
  • Knowledge of website design and maintenance
  • Ability to identify conflicts, potential conflicts, or perceived conflicts of interest with Hanford Site contractors
  • All ProSidian staff must be determined eligible for a Facility Access Authorization (Employment Authorization) by the U.S. Government's designated Security Office
  • May be required to complete a Financial Disclosure Statement
  • Must be able to submit to and qualify for varying levels of background investigations, up to a Top Secret or DOE Q clearance
  • Travel: occasional travel may be required (to attend meetings, events, site visits, or other training)
  • Location: work shall be conducted at or in proximity to Hanford Eastern Washington area; work remote during COVID-19 and duty station at Richland, WA
Responsibilities
  • Establish and distribute all HAB meeting schedules, agendas, and work plans in consultation with DOE HAB Coordinators and others
  • Assist with responsibility for committee and board meeting agendas to ensure topics are included and approved in a timely manner; provide final detailed agendas 10 days prior to meetings
  • Maintain open, ongoing and effective communications with agency representatives, HAB leadership, members and issue managers
  • Develop and distribute the HAB Annual Report as requested by the DOE Federal Coordinator and provide a digital copy to DOE
  • Assist with Ecology’s Annual HAB/Public Involvement Survey by conducting the survey and providing results to the Federal Coordinator
  • Maintain a HAB library per Federal Advisory Committee Act guidelines; organize and maintain official information repository
  • Monitor and carry out administrative procedures including attendance and conflict of interest policies, dissemination of policy advice and recommendations, and HAB ground and operating rules; seek clarification with DOE HAB Coordinators as necessary to avoid duplication with DOE staff
