  • Deep technical understanding of the Salesforce platform, including metadata-driven architecture, deployment pipelines, sandboxes, packaging, security models, Apex, Lightning, and the independent software vendor partner ecosystem.
  • A proven record of shipping products adopted and paid for by enterprise customers, including Fortune 500 companies and regulated industries.
  • Understanding of the competitive landscape, including Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, Salto, and native Salesforce DX.
  • A strong perspective on how artificial intelligence and machine learning, especially Salesforce Agentforce, Einstein, and Data Cloud, will reshape Salesforce development and governance.
  • Hands-on product execution, including writing product requirements documents, engaging with customers, reviewing wireframes, and participating in sprint reviews.
  • Ability to present a product vision to C-suite audiences and write technical specifications for engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the multi-year product roadmap across Flosum's DevOps, Backup & Archive, Trust Center, Data Seeding, and DevOps for Veeva product lines.
  • Identify opportunities in the Salesforce ecosystem to create new product categories or capture market share from competitors.
  • Translate Salesforce platform knowledge, including metadata architecture, deployment models, Agentforce, Data Cloud, and multi-org environments, into enterprise product capabilities.
  • Track Salesforce product direction and position Flosum to capitalize on platform changes.
  • Lead AI-powered DevOps capabilities built on Agentforce, including intelligent deployment agents, AI-driven code review, automated security scanning, and predictive release management.
  • Define how Flosum's extensibility platform enables customers to build custom AI-driven workflows within Salesforce's trust boundary.
  • Develop governance frameworks for autonomous systems and AI agents in Salesforce environments.
  • Engage with enterprise customers and prospects to understand needs related to Salesforce development, security, compliance, and data management.
  • Translate enterprise requirements, including SOX, zero-trust, multi-org, and regulated-industry requirements, into product solutions.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success on deal strategy, strategic-account product demonstrations, and competitive evaluations.
  • Write detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with Engineering to deliver products, owning sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and release coordination.
  • Define and track product KPIs, including adoption, activation, expansion, NPS, and competitive win rates.
  • Within the first 90 days, learn the five product lines and their technical architecture, conduct at least 25 customer and prospect interviews, complete a competitive audit with actionable investment recommendations, and deliver a product roadmap refresh with prioritization rationale.
  • Within months 3–6, deliver at least one major product release addressing a competitive gap or customer-requested capability, establish a product-led feedback loop across Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering, and define and present an execution plan for next-generation AI capabilities.
  • Within months 6–12, improve competitive win rates against Copado and Gearset, launch at least one new product capability that opens a revenue stream or market segment, and establish Flosum as a thought leader in AI-driven Salesforce DevOps through content, speaking, and ecosystem engagement.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with DevOps, continuous integration and continuous delivery, release management, or security and compliance tooling is strongly preferred.
  • Experience building products in the Salesforce AppExchange ecosystem, ideally as an independent software vendor or within a Salesforce-native product company.
  • Experience at the intersection of DevOps and security or compliance in regulated industries.
  • Experience leading product-led growth initiatives in an enterprise product, including self-serve onboarding, in-product conversion, and expansion mechanics.
  • A three-year vision for how autonomous agents will change how enterprises build on Salesforce.
  • Experience competing directly against well-funded competitors and winning through product superiority rather than marketing spend.
