Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or lead Construction Field Engineer.
  • Experience on advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or related facility construction projects.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods.
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as required.
  • Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to climb ladders as necessary.
  • Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor environments, which may include varying working conditions.
  • Must adhere to strict cleanroom gowning protocol.
  • Must be able to travel and commute daily or routinely to the client site or office.
  • Must have access to reliable transportation.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position involving field work at client sites in construction, process, packaging, manufacturing, research, or other non-administrative areas.
  • Employment visa sponsorship is not available.
Responsibilities
  • Lead specific construction-site activities, including specific trades, and manage parts of field operations on projects.
  • Support the Project Director, Project Manager, Construction Manager, and Senior Superintendent in overseeing work progress, subcontractor manpower, and coordination between trades.
  • Assist in ensuring subcontractor and vendor work is completed safely and in compliance with contract documents and the project schedule.
  • Collect and assemble on-site testing reports and inspection reports, and complete Construction Completion Records for close-out documentation for the Springtide Commissioning/Validation team and client.
  • Assume primary responsibility for activities associated with specific trades on assigned construction sites.
  • Ensure achievement of corporate goals for assigned projects.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining project schedules, including targeted and actual activity lists, durations, and sequencing logic.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the project budget for assigned trades and identify budget exceptions throughout project execution.
  • Support the Project Director and Project Manager in developing change-control documentation and related financial documentation.
  • Participate in constructability reviews of design documents.
  • Assist with procuring and coordinating required extra-corporate project resources.
  • Evaluate the legitimacy of requests in terms of contractual requirements and cost-estimate validity.
  • Facilitate communication between subcontractors, vendors, and project personnel, and document communications between project participants.
  • Help ensure submittals are distributed, reviewed, and stored to meet project and corporate requirements.
  • Assist in ensuring project activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
