About the company

RightSite Health helps reduce unnecessary emergency room visits by guiding patients with non-emergency needs to the right care. It relies on a network of Navigators who assist patients in accessing urgent care, clinic appointments, or prescription refills, and who also offer services like roundtrip transportation and follow-up checks. Revenue comes from partnerships with healthcare providers and payors who benefit from lower ER congestion and reduced costs. What sets RightSite Health apart is its navigator-driven, end-to-end care navigation model that integrates transportation and follow-up support to steer patients away from the ER and toward appropriate care options. The company’s goal is to lower healthcare costs, improve patient satisfaction, and decrease avoidable ER visits through coordinated, patient-centered care pathways.

What believers are saying

  • Coweta County launched RightSite on May 11, 2026, expanding Georgia presence.
  • Harris County ESD 9 approved RightSite on January 22, 2026, adding Texas volume.
  • Jacksonville kept RightSite after May 5, 2026, and redirected more 911 calls toward it.

What critics are saying

  • Jacksonville used RightSite just 47 times in 13,039 calls through November 2025.
  • March 2026 emails alleged equity offers tied to JEA lobbying, inviting contract scrutiny.
  • A policy shift against 911 telehealth billing would crush the municipal contract model entirely.

What makes RightSite Health unique

  • RightSite embeds ER physicians into 911 dispatch, not a separate telehealth app.
  • It pairs physicians with navigators for referrals, refills, transport, and follow-up.
  • Its insurer-funded model gives cities no-cost diversion from low-acuity ER calls.
