Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in transportation logistics, supply chain analysis, or operations planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to evaluate complex logistics scenarios and recommend strategic solutions.
  • Experience interpreting freight market trends and operational data.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer shipping patterns, freight lanes, and operational constraints to recommend transportation strategies and routing solutions.
  • Advise customers and internal stakeholders on capacity planning, carrier strategy, and freight market trends.
  • Provide consultative guidance on transportation risk mitigation, regulatory considerations, and service optimization.
  • Evaluate logistics data to identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and service reliability.
  • Research market capacity, pricing trends, and equipment availability to inform strategic transportation decisions.
  • Develop reports and actionable recommendations for management regarding logistics performance and operational enhancements.
  • Design and coordinate transportation plans aligned with customer supply chain objectives.
  • Determine optimal transportation approaches based on cost, service levels, equipment requirements, and market conditions.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to logistics workflows, processes, and vendor utilization.
  • Act as a logistics advisor to customers on transportation best practices and supply chain efficiency.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations leadership, and customers to develop long-term logistics strategies.
  • Present recommendations and operational insights to management and clients.
  • Assess transportation activities for compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and safety standards.
  • Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies related to carrier performance, capacity constraints, and service disruptions.
  • Exercise independent judgment regarding transportation planning strategies, operational process improvements, vendor and carrier framework recommendations, supply chain optimization initiatives, and transportation risk mitigation approaches.
