  • Ability to lift or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare, design, and execute menus.
  • Participate in required menu meetings with the chapter.
  • Create high-quality meals with excellent presentation and flavor.
  • Send regular photos of meal presentations to management.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining room.
  • Wash kitchen utensils, equipment, and dishes.
  • Ensure the kitchen operates in a timely manner.
  • Oversee and train kitchen staff, manage schedules, and assess performance with management's approval.
  • Order supplies in accordance with budgetary requirements and stock inventory.
  • Enforce sanitation and food safety standards according to state and local regulations.
  • Maintain professional interactions with coworkers and customers.
  • Assist in planning and executing special events as directed by management.
  • Communicate regularly with management by phone calls, emails, and text messages.
  • Ensure staff compliance with all company policies.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in professional, high-volume food production or catering, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Culinary degree.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Valid manager-level sanitation certification, or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
