About the job
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Prior administrative or office experience is preferred.
- The role requires attention to detail, strong mathematical aptitude, and strong planning, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- The candidate must understand departmental operations and procedures and be able to report to work as scheduled and on time.
- The candidate must know typical business operations and be able to use office equipment and software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and database software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- The candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to read, interpret, and carry out written and oral instructions.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Enter job orders into enterprise resource planning systems based on customer purchase-order requirements.
- Maintain and monitor work-in-process and finished-goods reorder points for quantity changes, identify trends based on recent usage and sales forecasts, and recommend findings or changes to management.
- Print job packets and barcodes for orders scheduled by the Scheduler.
- Maintain label makers and ensure supplies are maintained.
- Support the Production Manager and Scheduler as needed.
- Review job-packet printing contents and make recommendations to the Production Manager and Scheduler.
- Support day-to-day coordination of order-related workload for the lead production subgroup.
- Perform other related duties as requested, directed, or assigned, and work in other areas within the manufacturing department as needed.
