A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, a PharmD, or equivalent Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy.
A current, unrestricted California pharmacist license.
Immunization certification.
Active Basic Life Support certification.
Responsibilities
Maintain records and daily logs.
Consult with patients about dosing details, potential side effects, and storage requirements.
Administer vaccines.
Monitor loss prevention.
Furnish prescriptions and review, process, and verify prescriptions received from providers.
Provide over-the-counter recommendations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.

Summary
The Pharmacist is responsible for overseeing the distribution of medications to people in accordance with state and federal laws. Their duties include communicating with local physicians to determine the type of medication and dosage for a customer, taking inventory of pharmaceutical drugs to reorder them based on local demand, and interacting with pharmacy customers to give them their prescriptions and provide quality consultations.
